Trump Plans Lawsuit Against Trevor Noah Following Controversial Joke at the Grammys

The 2026 Grammy Awards were an evening full of excitement, with their usual display of glamour and surprises. Among the dazzling outfits and unexpected award winners, a bold remark by the evening’s host, Trevor Noah, became a focal point, drawing a significant response from Donald Trump himself.

While famous faces flaunted their unique styles, like Chappell Roan’s striking ensemble, and Cher humorously announced a Grammy win for an artist who has been deceased for years, it was Trevor Noah’s sharp wit that truly grabbed everyoneโ€™s attention.

A Joke That Left a Mark

In light of new extensive documents involving Jeffrey Epstein, Noah didn’t shy away from using his quick humor to address the topic:

โ€œSong of the Year – the award that every musician dreams of winning, just as Trump dreams of owning Greenland. Since Epstein’s island is now out of the picture, maybe he’s eyeing new spots to partner with Bill Clinton.โ€

Though merely being mentioned doesn’t imply wrongdoing, Trump found his name cited over a thousand times in the newly released documents. Despite persistent denials of any association with Epstein’s controversial island, where young women were reportedly abused, Noah’s jest seemed to strike a nerve.

Trump has consistently denied any misconduct related to Epstein. Reacting promptly, the White House and the Justice Department issued a statement emphasizing a critical point:

โ€œSome reports contain baseless and sensational allegations regarding President Trump that were submitted to the FBI during the contentious 2020 election period,โ€ the Justice Department remarked.

Speaking from aboard Air Force One, Trump argued that these revelations were mere attempts to tarnish his image, alleging a possible conspiracy by an author named Wolff in collaboration with Epstein:

โ€œThis writer, Wolff, allegedly conspired with Epstein to fabricate stories against me. My reliable sources have validated my innocence, branding it another desperate tactic by the radical left.โ€

Hinting at a possible legal pursuit, Trump announced plans to sue Wolff along with Epstein’s estate:

โ€œThis was a calculated move to politically damage me. Friends don’t act this way.โ€

After Noah’s Grammy monologue, Trump had more to articulate. Regardless of whether he watched it unfold live or caught the highlights, he was evidently displeased.

โ€œThe Grammys are an absolute disaster. Completely unwatchable! CBS knows better than to air such nonsense,โ€ he commented on Truth Social.

Turning his attention to Trevor Noah, Trump condemned the host’s remark as โ€œfalse and slanderous,โ€ pledging to initiate legal action. He energetically declared:

โ€œNoah falsely insinuated that I, paired with Bill Clinton, spent time at Epstein Island. Not true! I cannot speak for Bill, but I have never been there, nor accused of itโ€”until now. Noah, you’re disseminating falsehoods. My lawyers will enjoy preparing a robust legal response! Itโ€™s going to be interesting. Brace yourself, Noah!โ€
