President Donald Trump, on several occasions, has voiced criticisms against his predecessor, Joe Biden, accusing him of being less than transparent about his health while in office. Trump’s claims grew louder when Biden disclosed his struggle with prostate cancer, asserting that Biden was aware of his diagnosis during his presidency.
Recently, in a memorandum issued on a Wednesday, Trump directed the White House counsel, alongside Attorney General Pam Bondi and other officials, to probe whether individuals conspired to mislead the public regarding Bidenโs mental health and unlawfully took on presidential duties.
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, who was instrumental in developing the Obama-era Affordable Care Act, expressed on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Biden likely had cancer while still serving as president. He shared these insights based on his experience as an oncologist potentially linked to Biden’s care team.

In an unexpected turn of events, Trump spearheaded an inquiry into Biden for allegedly hiding his โcognitive declineโ by using an autopenโa device used by U.S. presidents to replicate their signatures. According to Trump, this tool was used to approve executive actions while concealing the actual executive power source.
The BBC has reported Trump’s statement saying the American public had been โkept in the dark about who held the executive power,โ as documents reflecting significant policy shifts were signed with autopen under Bidenโs supposed authorization.
โThis conspiracy represents one of the gravest and most alarming scandals in American history,โ Trump stated.
The investigation further revealed that senior White House officials were in the dark about who exactly was in charge of the autopen. As it turned out, the device’s use wasnโt regulated well enough to prevent misuse or manipulation.

The House Oversight Committee concluded, โThe Committee regards null any executive measures signed by the autopen that lack proper, written confirmation directly traceable to the presidentโs consent.โ
Response and Revelations
Biden dismissed the allegations as โcompletely absurd and untrue.โ
However, in an ironic twist, it was revealed that Trump himself might have used the autopen for signing pardons on November 7, 2025.
The speculations suggest that Trump could have resorted to autopens to autograph pardons for individuals such as former New York Mets player Darryl Strawberry, former Tennessee House speaker Glen Casada, and former New York police sergeant Michael McMahon, among others.
According to The Guardian, experts conveyed to the Associated Press that some of the pardons initially posted online bore the exact same signature. These signatures were later discreetly rectified by the Justice Department.

Justice Department spokesperson Chad Gilmartin explained to the Associated Press that this was a โtechnical error.โ He outlined that the website underwent updates following a technical mishap where one of President Trumpโs personal signatures was unintentionally uploaded multiple times due to staffing challenges brought about by the Democrat shutdown.
โThe essence here is that President Trump personally signed seven pardons, and the Department of Justice displayed these with each bearing a unique signature on our site,โ Gilmartin clarified.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson also pointed out in an email that Trump โpersonally signed all the pardons by hand, as he routinely does with all pardons.โ
Jackson emphasized, โThe media should focus their efforts on probing Joe Biden’s numerous autopenned pardons rather than spotlighting a non-existent issue.โ
