Tom Sizemore’s family has issued a tragic update on the actor’s condition following a brain aneurysm on February 18. (Saturday).

According to reports, the 61-year-old fell unconscious at his Los Angeles home and was rushed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, Sizemore’s management has stated that his family is “deciding on end-of-life concerns” following the doctors’ diagnosis of “no further hope.”

“In the early hours of Saturday, February 18, Tom Sizemore collapsed at his Los Angeles residence and was evacuated to a hospital by paramedics,” according to the statement. He was discovered to be suffering from a cerebral aneurism caused by a stroke.

“Tom has been in serious condition, in a coma, and in intensive care since that day.”

“Today, physicians informed his family that there is no longer hope and have suggested an end-of-life decision,” it says. The family is currently deciding on end-of-life issues, and another statement will be published on Wednesday.”

“We are requesting privacy for his family during this terrible time, and they wish to thank everyone for the hundreds of words of support and prayers that have been sent,” the statement continues. It’s been a trying period for them.”

Sizemore, arguably most remembered for his roles in Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, updated his Instagram page just hours before his death with a throwback shot of the cast of Heat (1995).

Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Danny Trejo, and Jon Voight were among the other noteworthy actors in the film.

Sizemore has a famous acting career, but according to The Guardian, he has long had legal troubles. In 2003, he was found guilty of domestic assault against his then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss, and in 2005, he was sentenced to many months in prison after being caught attempting to fabricate a urine test.

The 61-year-old had previously spoken openly about his struggles with addiction, revealing that Robert De Niro once paid for his treatment at a rehab facility.

The anguish Tom Sizemore’s family is currently through is unfathomable. All we can do is send them our love and prayers.
