Lindsie Chrisley describes how other inmates have reacted to her stepmother and father as they begin their years-long terms.

Lindsie opened up about Todd and Julie Chrisley’s first three months in prison when speaking with prison consultant Justin Paperny on her PodcastOne show The Southern Tea. Todd’s oldest daughter claims that the other inmates “welcomed them with open arms.”

Lindsie Chrisley reveals how the other inmates have treated her father.

“I feel so grateful because I’ve heard of other people reporting and it not being the case, so I do feel like we’re extremely privileged in that sense,” she explained.

Todd is serving a 12-year term at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, and Julie is serving a seven-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Kentucky, as previously reported by Mamas Uncut.

Lindsey revealed that one of her main concerns was whether or not the other inmates had seen her parents’ reality show Chrisley Knows Best. “I asked you, ‘Do you suppose people who are serving time in these camps have seen Chrisley Knows Best?’” And the simple answer, which I now know, is yes.”

Yet, Lindsie acknowledges her father’s transformation in prison, remarking that his longer and grayer hair suits him. “On my previous visit with my father, I couldn’t stop complimenting him on how good he looked. He appears to be in excellent condition. ‘Even your hair looks better, a little longer and a little grayer,’ I informed him. His nails haven’t been totally chewed.”

Todd has made a few acquaintances, according to Lindsie.

“His spirits are high. He’s really just embracing the process and making the best of it with the folks who are also serving time with him there. He’s made some wonderful buddies. He mentions his buddies there.”

Lindsie’s news comes after Abby Lee Miller disclosed that she contacted Todd Chrisley before to his prison sentence.

Abby Lee admitted to Entertainment Tonight that she warned Todd to “be careful.” “He’s quite bougie,” she said of her fellow reality star. He won’t be able to manage things like soap and towels.”

Yet, Miller admits that there is a method for Chrisley to survive in prison more readily. “I think he’ll make some trade-outs because there’s a way for him to survive in there,” she continued.

But, she recognizes that being a celebrity in prison adds a another layer of difficulties. “No one wanted to come to the front to get me when I came in.” There were volunteers who came to give you a tour and everything… Nobody would come except for my great buddy Michelle, with whom I still speak at least once a week.”

Todd and Julie are both appealing their cases after Savannah obtained custody of Todd and Julie’s youngest son and sole granddaughter. Grayson, their son, is 16 years old, and Chloe, their granddaughter, is 10 years old.

Savannah has discussed how her parents are coping in prison, as well as how their children are dealing with it.

Savannah admitted that she is doing her best to stay strong for Grayson and Chloe, but that it has “been difficult.” It’s been difficult to understand, process, and help two children process what’s going on in our lives.”
