“If both sides could just meet somewhere in the middle, I honestly think people would be a lot happier,” she explained. “Social media kind of pushes you toward one side or the other. There’s not much space left for being in the middle anymore, and I think that can drive people a little crazy.”
One of the more heartwarming and lighthearted moments during the interview came when she talked about her uncle, Barron Trump. Interestingly, Barron is only about a year older than Kai—he’s 19—so their relationship feels more like that of close cousins or friends. “He’s a great guy,” Kai said warmly. “He really doesn’t like being in the public eye, and honestly, I totally understand that.”

“It can be kind of awkward,” she admitted. “Like, when you’re on a date and they’re sitting just a couple of tables away watching everything—it’s definitely not normal.”
She explained that, at first, the situation made her uncomfortable, but over time, she has learned to adjust. Now, she tries her best to ignore their presence and focus on enjoying the moment, pretending they are not there.
