He has many talents, one of which is cutting his son’s hair.
Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves McConaughey showed the actor trimming his son Livingston’s hair in a recent Instagram photo.

In this shot, McConaughey is seen using barber scissors to shave his 10-year-old son, Livingston, who is seated in a salon chair.

Levi, the couple’s eldest child, is 14 and looks exactly like his father!

Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey’s wife, posted an Instagram photo of her husband brushing their son Livingston’s hair.

“And then this occurred,” the Brazilian model captioned a photo of Livingston’s blonde, highlighted hair clump on the floor.

McConaughey has been married to his wife since 2012. Vida, the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, is also a member of the family.

The four-person family has opted to live a low-key life in Texas, with the parents rarely publishing images or comments about their children.

Last year, Alves McConaughey told Fox News Digital that she and her family had enjoyed their time in Texas.

“It’s been fantastic,” she said. “It truly depicts our belief system, particularly the ones I grew up with, such as attending to church every Sunday and saying ‘yes ma’am’ or ‘no, sir.’” Being from a farming background, I grew up saying those things. Being from Brazil and then moving to Texas, I saw many similarities in terms of what families do here, particularly attending to church on Sundays and being outside. It’s been a fantastic transition.”

McConaughey elaborated on his parenting ideas to Town & Country in 2020, saying,

“Sometimes, loving your children entails giving them exactly what they want.” Sometimes it denotes harsh affection. Affluent parents can give their children whatever they desire, but they rarely get what they need. Loving a child is much more difficult if you truly care. ‘No’ requires a lot more effort. It is much easier to say ‘yes.’”

In July, Matthew McConaughey acknowledged the difficulty of raising teenagers.

“It’s odd because when you have children, you’re physically fatigued, right?” And I have a feeling that when you get to the teenagers… “It’s almost as though you need extra energy,” she explained to US Weekly.

“You need more intellectual capacity because it all comes down to the mind, right?” It’s as though a youngster is trying to figure out who they are and how they want to live their lives. So I believe it’s more demanding in a good way for me.”

Vida’s 13th birthday was recently celebrated, and family friend Woody Harrelson was invited as a special guest.

“Uncle @woodyharrelson is wondering if the cake is vegan or not!!!” stated the tweet. Alves McConaughey put a joke beside a photo of her child clutching a cake, with Harrelson appearing perplexed.

Despite the fact that they don’t talk much about their own children, they do a lot of work on behalf of children and are quite generous.
