The Chrisleys, of Chrisley Knows Best renown on television, have recently experienced a lot and it seems like there is no end in sight. Julie and Todd Chrisley were both found responsible for tax fraud and evasion in June 2022. They received sentences in November 2022 and were required to go to jail in January 2023. As if things weren’t bad enough already, Todd recently disclosed that Nanny Faye, his mother, has cancer. What is known about her tragic diagnosis is listed below.

The cancer diagnosis for Nanny Faye: What is known.
Todd spoke openly about Nanny Faye’s cancer diagnosis on the episode of Todd and Julie’s podcast Chrisley Confessions that aired on June 16, 2022. He explained, “My mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer, and she is currently receiving treatment. We have been dealing with this treatment on a weekly basis.”

Since late fall of 2021, Faye has been dealing with this and requested that no one else know. Despite the family’s best efforts to keep it a secret, her illness was revealed during the trial.

“Many individuals had noticed [the diagnosis]. People have pounded us with messages,” Todd continued. He explicitly mentioned the media’s disregard for the hardships his family faces. “We’ve had the press outside of our doors, sitting on the street with long lens cameras trying to get photos of us,” he continued.

They’ve started turning up to his mother’s house as well, which caused Todd to make a request in this trying time.

Todd told the audience, “I would urge that the folks who are doing this understand that she is 77 years old and that she is in a battle for her life.

Todd did not go into detail regarding Faye’s current treatment, but the family is optimistic about her recovery. Todd prayed, “I pray every day, several times a day, that God keeps a healing hand on her.” Everybody experiences difficulties, and we are no different from anyone else.

Nanny Faye had to give testimony at Todd and Julie’s trial, speaking of which.

What did Nanny Faye say at the trial of Todd and Julie Chrisley?
Authorities reportedly found Julie Chrisley’s attempt to deceive the IRS while Todd and Julie Chrisley were being investigated for fraud and tax evasion, according to Yahoo! News. Julie Chrisley transferred ownership of ‘7C’s Productions’ to Faye Chrisley by signing a document. She was named as the company’s president, shareholder, and board member on documents that were forwarded to several organizations.

There was only one issue with this: it was claimed that Nanny Faye was unaware that the corporation was registered in her name. Faye insisted that she couldn’t recall every paper that came her way or her pen, even though she had signed documents certifying that she was the company’s owner. Nanny refuted the allegations made in many documents presented by the prosecution, which claimed she owned a 75% stake in the business.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Annalise Peters was informed by Faye that she had never been involved with anything other than signing documents. “I’ve never been the owner. I’m not interested.

Over time, the court presiding over the case had to request that Nanny Faye cease calling the lawyer “honey.” Faye added that it’s entirely conceivable that she was provided some information, but her memory is the issue.

“I’m getting up there in years, and I’ve had a lot of experiences. I therefore don’t recall some things, she admitted.

Given that Nanny Faye is ill, handling everything must have been too much for her.

Has Nanny Faye’s condition changed recently?
Since Nanny Faye’s condition was made public, the Chrisleys haven’t actually provided any updates. However, when Chase Chrisley got engaged in October 2022, fans did catch a brief glimpse of her. That’s because an Instagram post celebrating Chase and Emmy Medders’ engagement featured a picture of Nanny Faye and Emmy cuddling.
