The model’s candid Instagram post follows her apparent social media feud with Selena Gomez.
Hailey Bieber is opening up about her personal issues.
On Wednesday, the model, 26, shared on Instagram Stories that she’s been feeling “fragile” following a terrible start to the year.
“I prefer to make jokes about how I feel because it’s sometimes simpler than admitting I’m having a hard time,” Bieber said in the beginning of her post.
“However, since the start of 2023, I’ve had some of the saddest, hardest periods of my adult life, and my mind and emotions have been delicate to say the least. And I know a lot of other people feel the same way I do, so know you’re not alone.”
She went on to say in a subsequent post, “That being said, let us continue to be there for one another. Let us be there for our loved ones, friends, family, and strangers.”

The Rhode Island mogul’s statement comes after Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber’s ex, requested fans to cease the “abuse” directed at her during the couple’s alleged social media spat, which also implicated Hailey’s buddy Kylie Jenner.
Gomez, 30, expressed her support for Bieber on Instagram Stories late last month and appealed for compassion.
“Hailey Bieber came out to me and informed me that she has been receiving death threats and other forms of vile criticism,” Gomez tweeted.
“This is not my position. No one should be subjected to hatred or bullying “She went on. “I’ve always been an advocate for kindness, and I genuinely want this to end.”
Later in the day, Hailey congratulated the singer on her Instagram Story. “I want to thank Selena for speaking up, as [she] and I have been discussing how to get past this recurring storyline between her and [me] for the last few weeks,” she wrote.
“The last two weeks have been tremendously difficult for everyone concerned, and millions of people have witnessed an outpouring of hatred that is highly detrimental. While social media is a great tool for connecting and building community, incidents like this simply serve to divide people rather than bring them together.”
Bieber went on, “Things may always be taken out of context or interpreted in ways that are not intended. Everyone, including myself, needs to be more careful about what we share and say. In the end, I believe that love will always triumph over hatred and negativity, and that there will always be opportunities to meet each other with greater empathy and compassion.”
Bieber and Gomez’s apparent feud began in February. Following Gomez’s jokey admission that she’d over-laminated her own brows in an Instagram Story post, several individuals on social media accused Jenner, 25, and Bieber of making fun of Gomez when they posted about their brows.
Jenner and Gomez, on the other hand, quickly put an end to the conjecture, with Jenner posting on TikTok, “This is a stretch. I never cast a shadow towards Selena, and I never saw her brow posts! You’re creating something out of nothing. This is ridiculous.”
Gomez mirrored Jenner’s sentiments, saying, “@kyliejenner, I agree. It’s all pointless. Kylie Jenner is one of my favorite celebrities! “According to Hollywood Life, in the comments section.
The Only Murders in the Building star then got into more trouble with Bieber when she responded to a viral video of her ridiculing her friend, singer Taylor Swift.
The video shows Bieber co-hosting her old show Drop the Mic with Method Man. Hailey faked to choke and stuck her tongue out before rolling her eyes as the rapper said “Taylor Swift’s latest album.”
In the comments section of the popular video, Gomez expressed her admiration for Swift, writing, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the greatest in the game.”
Until 2018, Gomez dated artist Justin on and off for eight years. That same year, he resumed his romance with Hailey, and the couple married in September at a New York City courthouse. In 2019, they were married in a religious wedding in South Carolina.
Following Hailey and Justin’s marriage, the two women have been pitted against each other, despite the fact that both Gomez and Hailey have consistently tried to dispel rumors of turmoil between them.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in September 2022, Bieber declared that she and Gomez are “all love” and refuted accusations that she “stole” Justin from her. The women tried to put any quarrel rumors to bed the following month when they publicly posed for photos together at a Los Angeles event.
However, Bieber opened up about her 2022 health scare and the impact it has had on her continued physical and mental health in January of this year.
In March 2022, the actress was brought to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms caused by a blood clot in her brain. She was identified with a patent foramen ovale, or PFO, which is a tiny opening in the heart that does not seal properly after birth.
