Chris Stapleton was picked to sing the National Anthem before the festivities began this time. The singer arrived on the field sporting his signature outfit, which included a pair of black sunglasses.

The Kentucky native then sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” for everyone in attendance at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as well as fans watching on television.

Chris Stapleton wasn’t always a performer. The singer began her career as a songwriter. His singing career finally took off considerably later, in 2015. At the 2015 Country Music Awards, he performed alongside Justin Timberlake. Tennessee Whiskey and Justin Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” were mixed in the duet.

Stapleton has received numerous awards over the years. He has received a number of honors, including about 16 CMAs, eight Grammys, and ten Academy of Country Music Awards.

The artist has previously stated that he sings in a distinct style that may not be to everyone’s taste. “I definitely don’t sing like a traditional country singer, you know, but, ultimately, I’m myself,” he stated in June 2022. “I’m simply trying to be the best version of myself.”

“And whether that’s playing a song that leans into blues, a song that leans into R&B, or a song that leans into really distinctly outlaw country,” Chris continued. I adore all of that music. And I’m not restricted to playing one sort of tune.”

During his rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, the vocalist completely wowed the audience. It truly brought tears to the eyes of thousands of people.
