Prince Harry has captivated the world’s attention with the publishing of his autobiography, Spare.

He revealed not only information about his life as a working royal, but also what he alleges occurred to some of his closest family members. He also spoke extensively about his upbringing, including the death of his mother, Princess Diana, and his military duty.

Harry also disclosed more information about his family with Meghan Markle, including Archie, their firstborn child.

Despite the fact that Harry and Meghan plainly like being in the spotlight, they have so far ensured that their children have a more protected upbringing. As a result, we’ve seen very little of Archie or his sister, Lilibet.

Yet, Harry and Meghan disclosed countless private moments with their children during their Netflix documentary, which aired in December.

In Spare, Harry disclosed more information about his personal life. This includes, interestingly, what he did while Meghan was giving birth to Archie… He allegedly got high!

Since they began dating, the couple has piqued the interest of the British tabloid press. That is hardly surprising given that half of the world appears to be interested in what they are doing.

Harry was “obsessed” with shielding Archie from journalists.

Meghan Markle was already a well-known name thanks to her role in the television series Suit, so the announcement that she would be joining the British Royal Family caused quite a commotion.

Archie, Harry and Meghan’s son, was born on May 6, 2019, at London’s The Portland Hospital. It was a monumental occasion, as any royal child’s birth is, but Harry and Meghan took a different approach.

According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, Harry was evidently focused with not giving any details about the birth of his kid to the public. In her book The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, Nicholl depicted Harry as “almost morbidly preoccupied” with keeping Archie’s birth as secret as possible.

Yet, because millions of fans and the majority of the public wanted to know more about the small child, the desire for secrecy was criticized as a violation of the “unwritten pact between the royals and the people.”

“Behind the scenes, things were so tense that, as I know from personal experience, more than one official was moved to tears of anger and despair,” Rebecca English, royal editor of the Daily Mail, added.

When a royal baby is born, the parents are traditionally pictured with their new son or daughter on the steps to the hospital. Following the photographing, the proud mother and father usually answer a few questions before retiring to privacy.

According to Katie Nicholl, Harry and Meghan chose a different approach to their son’s delivery. Instead of immediately engaging the media, they deceived reporters and photographers.

“I was very concerned going into that labor.”

The traditional first baby photographs were also taken at St Mary’s Hospital because Prince William, Harry, and William’s children were all born there. Meghan’s doctor, on the other hand, was a staff member at Portland Hospital. As a result, having the baby there made logical. Furthermore, the Sussexes were advised that photography would be impossible due to safety issues at the entrance.

“Harry had always loved outwitting the media,” writes Nicholl in his book The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Crown’s Future.

“Harry and Meghan were overjoyed to have their son safely delivered in London’s private Portland hospital even before the palace press office revealed the duchess was in labor.”

Meghan stated in their Netflix documentary series that she was concerned about what would happen the day her baby son was born.

“The picture was already putting pressure on the steps… But I was anxious going into that delivery because I’m older, I didn’t know if I’d have to have a c-section, and I had a longstanding relationship with my doctor, who I trusted with my pregnancy,” she explained.

But, two days later, Harry and Meghan decided to participate in a quick photo shoot during which only one reporter was permitted to ask questions.

Despite the fact that everything appeared to be in order, their stay in the hospital turned out to be quite dramatic. At least, according to Harry’s new book, Spare.

Harry and Meghan allegedly expressed royal worry about Archie’s skin hue.
Archie got caught up in a big feud within the Royal Family before he could even speak or walk. It all started with Oprah Winfrey’s historic interview, in which his mother, Meghan, spoke candidly about her time and challenges living in the UK.

She also revealed information about the Firm, such as the fact that then-Prince Charles refused to answer Harry’s phone calls.

The most stunning part, though, was Meghan’s claim that discussions within the palace had taken place concerning how dark Archie’s complexion would be before his birth.

“They were worried that if he was too brown, it would be a problem?” Oprah inquired of Meghan.

“I couldn’t follow up on why,” Meghan said. “But if that’s the assumption you’re making, I believe it’s a pretty safe one.”

By the time Harry and Meghan’s royal obligations officially ended on March 31, 2020, Archie had already arrived. The family has extended to four members since the birth of their daughter, Lilibet, in 2021.

In the first episode of the Netflix documentary, Harry and Meghan provided an intimate look into their family life at their residence in Montecito, California. Their home has been dubbed “Fort Knox,” and security is tight.
