Trump’s Response to the Newly Released Epstein Photos

Trump Addresses Epstein Photo Release

President Donald Trump responded on Friday following the release of new photos from the Jeffrey Epstein case, showing him alongside the convicted sex offender. Trump insisted that his connection to Epstein was not unusual, noting that “everyone knew him.”

The Democrats in Congress released several new photos related to Epstein’s files, including images of the current U.S. President. The release comes as the deadline for the extended publication of documents related to the disgraced financier approaches, Reuters reports.

In three of the photos distributed by the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, Trump can be seen. One black-and-white picture features him smiling with several women whose faces are blurred, standing beside him.

Another image shows Trump sitting next to Epstein, and a less clear photo presents him seated beside another blurred woman, wearing a red tie that is loosened. The date and location of these photos remain unknown.

“Everybody knew him,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday.

“He was all over Palm Beach. He has pictures with everybody. Almost… there are hundreds and hundreds of people with photos of him. So it’s nothing important,” he added.

The White House spokesperson, Abigail Jackson, remarked that the Trump administration “has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have.”

“It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democratic viewpoints and start questioning why Democrats wanted to associate with Epstein after his conviction,” she stated.

The Epstein scandal has posed a political challenge for Trump over several months, partly because he has spread conspiracy theories about Epstein to his supporters. Many Trump voters believe that officials in Trump’s administration covered up Epstein’s ties with powerful figures and concealed details of his death, officially ruled a suicide, in a Manhattan jail in 2019.

The Department of Justice stated in July that there is no evidence to warrant the investigation of any third parties in the Epstein case. They further mentioned that neither a “client list” nor individuals who might have been involved in human trafficking were identified, nor was there evidence that Epstein had blackmailed anyone.
