The White House has released a statement regarding President Trumpโs recent hospital visit.
This morning, a White House spokesperson confirmed that President Trump is being taken to the hospital. There have been growing concerns about the President’s health, prompting this decision.
Karoline Leavitt, serving as the press secretary, has shared that the President, who is 79 years old, will be visiting the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. During his visit, he is also scheduled to meet with troops stationed there.
The White House has referred to this trip as a standard ‘yearly checkup,’ although it’s worth noting that the President already had an ‘annual physical examination’ only six months prior.

This development comes amid new health worries that have surfaced since July when photos reportedly showed bruising on the President’s hands and swelling around his ankles.
In her address concerning the hospital visit, Leavitt stated: “On Friday morning, President Trump is set to stop by the Walter Reed Medical Center. His agenda includes planned meetings and remarks with troops stationed there.”
“During the visit, President Trump will also undergo his routine yearly health checkup,” she explained.
“He will then return to the White House,” she added. “Plans are underway for President Trump to potentially visit the Middle East soon after.”
During the summer period, the President was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. This condition essentially involves complications with blood circulation in the veins of the legs, as reported by the BBC.
Medical reports describe this issue as ‘benign and common’ among individuals over the age of 70. It arises when veins in the legs inadequately return blood back toward the heart, leading to blood accumulation and swelling in the lower limbs.

Earlier in the year, social media was abuzz with false rumors suggesting that President Trump had passed away, fueled by his absence from public view for several days.
When asked to address these rumors, President Trump responded: “I hadnโt heard those rumors before. Thatโs quite a serious claim to make,” he remarked to reporters.
Amidst these unfounded rumors, the President took to social media to declare, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.”
While aboard Air Force One, he candidly shared with reporters: “A good heart, a sound mind. I feel great.”
“I have a good soul too and wanted to make sure I was different from Biden,” he said humorously.
“I even took a cognitive test,” he revealed. “I scored perfectly in every section, just so you know!”
