Sandra Bullock’s sister has shared heartbreaking details about the final moments she spent with her long-term partner, Bryan Randall, before his passing. The actress’s partner had been privately battling ALS, a devastating illness, for three years before peacefully departing on August 5th at the age of 57.

In a statement, his family expressed their deep sadness and respect for his decision to keep his fight with ALS private. They extended their gratitude to the medical professionals and nurses who provided exceptional care during his illness. The family requested privacy as they mourn and come to terms with saying goodbye to Bryan.

Taking to Instagram, Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, paid tribute to the talented model-turned-photographer. She shared that Bullock had been by his side in his final moments and highlighted the dedicated team of nurses who supported him at home. Despite the cruelty of ALS, Gesine found comfort in knowing that Bryan was well-cared for by her amazing sister. She wished him peaceful rest.

The news of Bryan Randall’s passing was confirmed by his family, who revealed that he had quietly been battling ALS. This disease affects nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain.

Bullock and Randall crossed paths in 2015 when he photographed her son’s birthday celebration. Their romantic relationship started shortly after, and they made their red carpet debut that same year. While Bullock values her privacy regarding her personal life, she publicly declared Randall as the "love of her life" during an interview in December 2021. She praised their blended family, which included Randall’s daughter Skylar and Bullock’s two children, Louis and Laila.

Bullock emphasized the importance of co-parenting and putting the children first before rushing to get married. She believed that a piece of paper wasn’t necessary to be a devoted partner and mother. Bullock expressed her commitment to weathering storms with a good man and being ever-present in the hardest of times.

At this time, Bullock has not made any public statements regarding her partner’s passing. Instead of flowers, Randall’s family encourages contributions to the ALS Association and the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bryan Randall’s friends and family, as well as Sandra Bullock, during this difficult time.
