There are some things that simply do not exist in other nations.

The challenge of attempting to locate a nice cup of tea while traveling in Europe is maybe the most obvious one for Brits.

They always seem to have every type of tea imaginable, whether it be herbal, fruit, green, rooibos, or Earl Grey, but English Breakfast is almost never available.

One US influencer, though, drew criticism after packing a big quantity of an uncommon home comfort while traveling.

Jill Zarin, a Real Housewives of New York City star, disclosed that she had taken a whole suitcase with her simply filled with Diet Coke, enough, she added, to last for “two weeks.”

The reality star argued that this was the case because there is only Coke Zero or Coke Light available in Europe, which she described as “sucking” in the TikTok video that her daughter Ally Shaprio shared.

Sorry to any Coke Zero supporters.

“So I’ve snuggled my Diet Coke from the United States because they don’t sell it in Europe,” she stated in front of the camera.

It’s awful that they only have Coke Light and Coke Zero.

Her daughter came up with the following caption for the video: “Any other Diet Coke girlies travel with a full suitcase of Diet Coke? Fortunately, it arrived unscathed.

Naturally, a lot of people responded in the video’s comments section to clarify that Diet Coke is, in fact, a thing in Europe.

Someone asked: “What’s going on here? Who is responsible for spreading the false information that these products are not available here?

Why? “Because whoever you are, keep it up, this s**t is funny.”

Another person said, “All EU has diet coke and coke zero.”

Another added, “We have diet coke; I’ve never heard of Coke Light in my life.”

Others sought to draw attention to the enormous number of cans in the case, to which one viewer retorted: “Everyone is arguing over Coke Light vs. Diet Coke but why is nobody concerned by the insane behavior of bringing a suitcase full of DC?!”

Shaprio clarified that finding Diet Coke where they were heading is a little challenging.

In response to a criticism regarding the quantity of Diet Coke cans eaten in England, she stated: “Where we are going in Italy, Greece, and Croatia, finding Diet Coke is quite difficult!

“And just this cruise, which we knew didn’t have anything at all.”

It’s interesting to note that Europe is one of the few continents where Coca-Cola is not the most widely consumed soft drink.

Of course, there is Scotland, where Irn Bru continues to reign supreme.

Not surprising at all.
