Steve Harvey’s new show, Steve, gained significant traction for a few months in 2019 before unexpectedly ceasing. It was discovered that NBC had previously canceled the chat program of the famed Family Feud host. Harvey’s talk show aired for over 7 years before the network decided to cancel it. Surprisingly, the time slot was later granted to The Kelly Clarkson Show, which premiered on September 9th, 2019. Harvey had stated in January 2019 that he believed his show would be cancelled. He sounded dissatisfied with the entire situation.
“I thought I was going to stay with NBC until they announced a couple of weeks ago that they wanted to give Kelly Clarkson the owned-and-operated NBC networks- that’s my slot,” Steve Harvey said. I’m not sure if it sold. It’s not selling as well as they expected, but I thought it would be great of them to come to me. I’m just an old-school guy who assumed that you should just talk to people. Simply say, ‘Look, you’ve been fantastic business for us. This is what we’re thinking; are you alright with it?’

Steve Harvey believes that God will reveal to him what is expected of him in the next stage of his life.
