Shemar Moore has been a heartthrob for the most of his life. Even though he appeared to be a lady’s man, the truth was far from it.
The actor never envisioned becoming a father, but at the age of 52, he finally realized a lifelong dream.
Actor Shemar Moore announced a few weeks ago that he was going to become a father for the first time. He made the revelation while appearing on Jennifer Hudson’s chat show.
“My name is Shemar Moore, and I’m 52 and a half years old,” he said to a grinning Jennifer Hudson.
My mother is currently in paradise and will celebrate her three-year anniversary on February 8. And, because Shemar Moore is about to become a father in real life, I’m going to fulfill one of her desires on February 8.
His mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore, died on February 8, 2020. She had been suffering from multiple sclerosis for some time.
Moore’s announcement even surprised Hudson. “That is news,” the host replied. And your mother will be beaming with pride from above.”
He seemed overjoyed at the idea of finally becoming a father after making the announcement. “I was worried for a while that maybe that ship had sailed, and, you know, God had my back and things lined up,” he explained.My life is very spectacular, but I know that when God calls my name, and I have this experience, I’ll be able to go to heaven whole.”
The celebrity later shared a video of the gender reveal party for him and his partner Jesiree Dizon on his Instagram account.
Moore was never afraid to express his wish to have children. In a 2017 interview, he remarked, “I want to be a family man.” I want to be a father, and I want to have a partner in crime, a woman with whom I can share [my life]. I want to keep evolving, to keep moving forward in my life. In my private life.”
And now his wish has been granted. According to sources, he welcomed his fiancée Jesiree Dizon and his daughter.
Of course, the delighted papa was quick to share a photo of his bundle of joy on social media.
He captioned a lovely photo of himself cuddling his baby child, “FRANKIE MOORE!!!! BABY GIRL in da building!!!” He captioned the image. “Born on January 24… at 3:38pm…. 7.1 Pounds… 20 Inches…. 10 Fingers n 10 Toes… “YOU’RE ALREADY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!”
“I’m a Girl Daddy!!!!” he continued. OH MY GOD!!! DREAMS REALIZE!!” Moore went on. “Grandma Marilyn is in heaven, strolling by, drinking her wine, and doing her happy dance… Every day, Mom, I LOVE and MISS YOU.”
“Frankie is gonna grow up to be a KILLA!!!” he concluded the message. “Warning: ‘Frankie Muthaf**kin Moore’ is on his way!!!!”
