A thoughtful delivery worker went out of his way to shovel the driveway of a 90-year-old woman who was having difficulty getting her mail.

Allison Shei watched an Amazon delivery vehicle stop on her street as she glanced out her front window on a snowy day in La Porte, Indiana.

“Our 90+ year old neighbor received an Amazon delivery today,” Allison stated in an online post.

Her neighbor, an old woman in her 90s, has a mailbox on the side of her driveway, and as the item was being delivered, the driver witnessed her struggling to make her way through the snow to receive her mail.

“He spotted her straining to get to her mailbox in the driveway and took care of the matter right away.”

The generous driver then took a snow shovel and shoveled the elderly woman’s driveway so she could access the mailbox safely.

Allison was touched by the delivery driver’s generosity.

“Faith restored in humanity,” she wrote.
Compassion is recognizing another person’s struggle and doing everything you can to aid them, as this nice delivery driver did.
