God bless you all, and please heal these precious lads.

Three sons were born to a family in Atlanta, Georgia. Regrettably, all three of them have retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer.

Tristen Rush, Angie and Aaron Rush’s oldest kid, was diagnosed with retinoblastoma about five years ago. He’s been fighting the sickness ever since. Tristen has endured a lot of chemotherapy treatments and drugs throughout the years, beginning when he was just a few weeks old.

Caison, their second son, was also diagnosed with retinoblastoma when he was born. The news was devastating. It meant that the family would have to go through the same ordeal all over again. Caison began treatment at the age of one week.

His mother and father prayed for their sons to win the battle for their lives.

Baby number three entered the world about six months ago. What Angie and Aaron hoped for during the pregnancy was that their youngest kid will be delivered healthily. Regrettably, that did not occur.

Carter, like his older brother, was diagnosed with retinoblastoma from the moment he was born. It’s in both of his eyes.

As much as everyone was astonished and saddened by this family’s life experience, Angie was aware of the possibilities because she had retinoblastoma as a child and had lost her left eye as a result. She was well aware that there was a potential she may pass the condition on to her children.

“I feel a lot of shame knowing that this is something I could pass down to them. “However, I know I’ve been blessed,” the mother told 11 Alive.

All this family can do now is stand by the children every step of the way and hope for the best. “They are warriors,” says the children’s grandmother, Jeanne Rush.

Meanwhile, the family has set up a GoFundMe page to aid with medical expenditures.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Rush family.
