Sausages in tomato sauce

Sausages in tomato sauce ๐Ÿ…๐ŸŒญ

Ingredients:

6 fresh sausages (pork or mixed)

1 large onion, chopped

2 cloves of garlic

400 g chopped tomatoes in broth

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon oregano

salt, pepper, oil

100 ml water

Preparation:


1๏ธโƒฃ Brown the sausages in a little oil, then set aside.


2๏ธโƒฃ Fry the onion and garlic until golden.


3๏ธโƒฃ Add the tomatoes, paste, sugar, water and spices. Boil for 5 min.


4๏ธโƒฃ Put the sausages back in the sauce and simmer everything covered for 25โ€“30 min.

Decoration and Serving:
Serve hot with mashed potatoes, polenta or fresh bread.
