The memorial service is taking place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
There is a lot of talk about whether Melania Trump will make an appearance at the memorial for Charlie Kirk. Her husband, former President Donald Trump, has already arrived in Arizona for the occasion, and her absence has raised several questions.
Images emerged showing Donald Trump boarding Air Force One, heading to Arizona, sparking curiosity about why Melania wasn’t seen as well. As it turns out, Melania did not alight from the aircraft with him upon arrival.
This absence was promptly noted by social media users, who shared images of Trump alone as he stepped off the plane. One user remarked on Twitter, observing, “Melania Trump is definitely not on the trip to Arizona.” This was echoed by others who wondered aloud if she would be present at the memorial service.
From the White House, earlier in the day, President Trump addressed the press, stating, “We’re here to celebrate the life of a remarkable person. Events like these are hard to fathom, but today promises to be both poignant and challenging.”

He added that he hopes the day will be a time for healing for everyone involved.
Elsewhere, JD Vance conveyed his feelings on social media, writing, “Last week, I accompanied Charlie Kirk, my dear friend, home for the last time. Today, in Arizona, we gather to honor his memory and respect his sacrifice. May he rest peacefully and may Erika and their wonderful children be comforted.”
Charlie Kirk, who was the 31-year-old CEO of Turning Point USA, met with a tragic fate when he was shot fatally in the neck during a university event in Utah earlier this month.
Following the incident, there was a short but intense two-day search that led to the capture of the suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. He now faces seven charges, including aggravated murder, and if found guilty, he may be sentenced to death.
Video footage from that fateful day captured the alarming moment Kirk was shot, revealing him clutching his injured neck.

This act of violence has highlighted deeper divisions within the country and sparked conversations around the issue of political violence, leading to widespread protests and discussions.
Turning Point USA announced the memorial service earlier in the week, inviting all who wished to participate in remembering Charlie Kirk.
The announcement portrayed the service as a moment to “celebrate the incredible life and lasting impact of an American icon, Charlie Kirk.”
Today’s memorial at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, features several prominent speakers, including President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Charlie’s bereaved widow, Erika.
The event has drawn a massive crowd, with people from all over gathering to remember and honor the work and life of the conservative leader. According to reports, security at the venue is comparable to that of a Super Bowl, given the scale of the event.
The stadium, with its capacity to seat approximately 73,000 people, has put in place thorough security measures, including TSA-style checks, to ensure safety and manage the large attendance effectively.
