Kate Middleton May Reach Out to Meghan Markle

Back in 2018, leading up to the royal wedding of Harry and Meghan, there was a buzz of an incident involving Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

It was said that Meghan was upset over a situation with Princess Charlotte’s flower girl dress. This moment became one of the sparks in a long-standing tension between the royal couples—Harry and Meghan in one corner, William and Kate in the other. The question on everyone’s lips remains: Will they ever truly mend fences?

Once Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returned to the United States, it sparked whispers about William and Kate’s interest in the “US Royal Market.” This move didn’t sit well with Meghan, especially given that Kate recently received recognition from Time Magazine.

Meghan’s Struggles with Letting Go

In the public eye, Kate and Meghan initially seemed to share a warm camaraderie during their official engagements. Sadly, their relationship was reportedly rocky from the start.

Prince Harry mentioned in his book ‘Spare’ that when he first shared the news about dating Meghan, a well-known TV actress, with William and Kate, the reaction was one of astonishment.

“When it’s all said and done, Harold, she’s an American actress; anything could happen,” William reportedly cautioned.

Building Bridges

Harry also touched on an awkward moment when Meghan, known for her warm-hearted greetings, went to hug William. The prince wasn’t accustomed to such gestures from strangers and wasn’t quite comfortable with it.

Following their wedding in 2018, Meghan was eager to fit into royal life and looked to Kate for guidance on navigating public duties. However, it seems the mentorship Meghan hoped for didn’t quite materialize as expected.

Christmas Connection – Will Kate Reach Out?

There’s a ray of hope, though. According to former royal butler, Harrold, who spoke with GB News, Kate might make an effort to contact Harry and Meghan over the holiday season, perhaps through a video call.

“I think Catherine will wish them a Merry Christmas, embracing the spirit of goodwill and leaving past issues behind,” Harrold noted. “Christmas is a time for healing and fresh beginnings.”

Challenges on the Horizon

In other developments, there have been changes in Harry and Meghan’s professional ventures. Their partnership with Spotify has ended, and after creating documentaries for Netflix, it seems Netflix’s interest might be waning. Meghan is embarking on a journey, starting her show focused on cooking, gardening, and entertainment, expected to debut on Netflix in early 2025.

Yet, this might be their final project with Netflix, as their contract with the streaming giant expires at the end of 2025, and there’s no guarantee of renewal.

Kate and Time Magazine: A Source of Envy?

Kate Middleton’s nomination for Time Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year 2024’ has also caused quite a stir. The magazine praised her for sparking international discussions on privacy and public health concerns.

While Donald Trump clinched the ‘Person of the Year’ title, royal observer Charlotte Griffiths opined that this recognition might have stirred feelings of envy in Meghan.

Griffiths shared on the Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential, “I think Meghan would have loved to be recognized like that. It’s only natural to feel a pang of envy.”

As we ponder the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s connection with the royal family, it begs the question: Is reconciliation possible? Feel free to discuss this piece with your friends and family.
