INGREDIENTS:
For the dough:
800 g all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon dry yeast (5 g)
1 teaspoon salt (6 g)
500 ml milk
For the filling:
500 g ground meat
100 g onion
Salt, black pepper to taste
For brushing:
- A bit of butter, milk, 1 egg yolk
INSTRUCTIONS:
Knead a medium-consistency dough using the listed ingredients. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Mix the ground meat with finely chopped onion and season to taste.
Divide the dough into 4 parts. Shape each into a ball, cover them, and let them rest for another 10 minutes.
On a floured surface, roll out one dough ball into a thin sheet.
Brush the entire surface with melted butter and evenly spread one-fourth of the meat filling.
Roll the sheet into a log, then twist it into a spiral (like a snail). Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
After resting, gently flatten each spiral with your hand, then use a rolling pin to press slightly more.
Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with egg yolk mixed with a bit of milk.
