Red Velvet Cake with Raspberries and Cream Cheese Frosting 🎂🍓
Ingredients:
For the cake layers:
250 g flour
300 g sugar
2 eggs
240 ml buttermilk
115 g softened butter
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Red food coloring
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the frosting:
400 g cream cheese
200 g butter
150 g powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For decoration:
250 g fresh raspberries
Mint leaves
Powdered sugar
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cake Layers:
Cream the butter and sugar together, then add the eggs. Gradually incorporate the dry and wet ingredients. Bake in 3 separate pans at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes.
2️⃣ Frosting:
Mix all the ingredients until light and fluffy.
3️⃣ Assembly:
Alternate layers of cake and frosting. Cover the entire cake with frosting.
Decoration and Serving:
Garnish with fresh raspberries, mint leaves, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Best served chilled.
